New Zealand vs South Africa: where to watch the rugby final live and streaming?

France will not be taking part in the final of “its” Rugby World Cup. The match for victory will be played between New Zealand and South Africa at the Stade de France on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 9pm. The match will be broadcast on TF1.
We won’t be seeing France in the final. Les Bleus were knocked out in the quarter-finals against South Africa by a single point. There’s no point in revisiting that, unless you want to stir up the pot and rekindle fresh wounds. Now it’s time for the Rugby World Cup final, which will pit New Zealand against South Africa. It will be broadcast on TF1.

The two teams facing off have some of the best records in rugby. The Springboks have already won the championship three times. The same goes for the All Blacks. In fact, in the rankings updated to October 23, 2023, which reflect the world oval ball hierarchy, these two countries are ranked 1st and 2nd respectively.

A total of 20 teams took part in the tournament, with 48 matches spread over nine stadiums. There were three broadcasters in France: TF1, M6 and France TV. Most of the tournament was covered by TF1, but some quarter-finals and at least one French team match were broadcast by M6 and France TV.

How and where can I watch rugby matches live online?
With the Rugby World Cup taking place in mainland France, match times are widely accessible to the public in mainland France, as well as in the rest of Europe. The matches with the highest stakes will take place in the evening, from 9 p.m. onwards. The others will take place at various times, some in the afternoon from 1pm.

If you have a TV set, all you have to do is turn it on at the appointed time to see the matches of your choice. In France, broadcasting of the competition is divided between three television groups: TF1 has won the rights to the entire competition, and will naturally reserve the most attractive matches for itself, including the semi-finals, the third-place play-off and the final.

However, TF1 has reached an agreement with M6 and France TV to sub-license certain matches. So, depending on which teams you want to follow, you’ll have to juggle between three TV channels. France TV and M6 have also secured one quarter-final match each (the other two unsurprisingly going to TF1).
